Review Etude House Wonder Pore clearing emulsion

Hi everyone,

I am back with a beauty review. We mustn’t forget this is a beauty review blog ☺

This month is an exceptional month, as it’s the last one of the year but I am back with a review post.

It’s for Etude House Wonder Pore clearing emulsion.

As you all know I love Wonder pore freshner as I have been using it for years. I always have a bottle in stock.

In the recent years they have extended the products from this line.

I haven’t been dissapointed in any of the products I have tried from this line yet.

Just a reminder, the Wonder Pore line is for people looking for products to take care of their pore, to control oil secretion and have cleaner looking skin.

The packaging

I do not own the full size, my review is based on the deluxe sample size I got from my Wonder Pore trial kit.

I previously bought one online to test out the new products. But then I also got one on a Etude House global order.

Just a reminder, this kit contains a facial wash, a toner, an essence and the emulsion.

The deluxe sample size contains 25ml, you can test it out for at least 2 weeks.

This comes in a clear plastic where you can clearly see how much is left.

The design with the star kind of reminds me of Wonder Woman… well this line does claim to be “the Wonder Woman for your pores”.

The product

This is an emulsion : if you have oily skin, you can use this as your moisturizer and finish off your skincare with this.

For normal/ dry skin, you can continue and apply a cream.

The emulsion is a gel like milk, which is quite light. It is scented like the freshner but the scent is stronger here.

It has that peppermint scent which is quite fresh.

It feels quite light on the face : this does not give a matte finish. It gives you a nice glow. This is also is not sticky on the face.

But after 2-3 hours, my face gets oily with this emulsion. I just blot my face to get rid of the excess sebum.

As a moisturizer, this does the job.
But if you are sensitive to scented product, you might not like it.

This didn’t break me out, or made my skin itch which is a good thing.

As someone with combi/oily skin, this doesn’t control my sebum secretion much by itself. But if I use this with my Wonder Pore corrector, my face get oily after 5-6 hours, which is pretty good!

Would I buy the full size? I don’t think so as I prefer a moisturizer that controls my sebum secretion directly.

I really like the fact that Etude House always have these deluxe sample size, so you can use this first before you commit to the full size.

I’ve been using mine for a couple of weeks now as my day cream. I am satisfied with the results, but not impressed.

If I had to recommend a product from this line, I would still recommend the freshner. It is still by far my favorite product from this line.

Do let me know if you’ve used this, or if you have any recommendation!

See you next time.
