Today let me share some products from Rovectin and Klairs.
Before anything else, happy new year!
Covid is still part of our every day life but I hope we’ll have more liberty soon again because I miss travelling and discovering new places!
For now I had the chance to discover and try new products from Rovectin and Klairs, so let’s start with that!
As usual Wishtrend has kindly sent me these 3 products so I can try out and share my experience.
This time I get to try a new brand which is Rovectin. This is a Korean skincare brand who’s selling point is offering vegan beauty products. One extra thing about this brand is that they provide stickers so you can personalize your bottle! Cute touch right!
I have tested these products for more than a month so I can give a proper review.
Rovectin Cica Care purifying toner
Let’s start with the first product, Rovectin Cica Care purifying toner.
This toner had a plastic film only for the packaging. That was already a plus point, as less packaging is good for our future!
As per Wishtrend’s website :
This toner helps gently heal and protect damaged sensitive skin. With Rovectin’s hydrating Barrier Repair Complex™, it helps restore and repair the skin’s natural moisture barrier and lift dead skin cells away. It also contains plant-based antioxidant madecassoside to revitalize the skin and reduce the appearance of scars and dark spots. The Houttuynia Cortada and Centella Asiatica work as powerful antioxidants for anti-inflammatory and strengthens the skin. Recommended to sensitive and irritated skin.
This toner is good for people looking for a toner that can help strengthens the skin barrier, regenerate the skin and soothe it.
This is also good for people with sensitive skin as it’s paraben free, mineral oil free, fragrance free and it has a PH of 4.5 to 6 which is around the same as our skin.
I have been using this for more that a month now and I can say I am really happy with this one!
It’s indeed fragrance free and doesn’t smell bad at all! I love applying this in the morning after I was my face. It hydrates my skin and makes it ready for the next step.
This is also pretty watery so it glides on the skin nicely and you immediately feel the difference.
My skin did not break out at all with this one,so nothing bad to say about it.
The toner comes in a transparent plastic bottle of 260 ml. This should last you for a couple of months, for at least 3 months I would say even if you use it day and night.
Rovectin clean forever young biome ampoule
This ampoule is like the toner : it’s fragrance free, paraben free, mineral oil free, vegan and cruelty free.
This contains a mix of prebiotic and probiotic and this is an anti aging product by the way!
It will help provides moisture to the skin barrier, with a texture that is not too heavy.
I do like the blue of this bottle but found that the pipette of this ampoule is one of the worst I have eve tried.
Seems that the pipette is broken as I need to push it 2-3 times before I can get some products first. But maybe not as I have tried another ampoule from this brand and I have the same issue.
What I also doesn’t like is how much product you waste when you close it/ when you put the pipette back. See how much goey stuff is on the side. The ampoule turns jelly like when it dries out.
For the ampoule itself, it actually works pretty well.
Unlike it’s dry version on the bottle, the ampoule is viscuous. Not too thick, not too light as well.
2-3 drops is enough for your face and neck.
The more you spread it out, the more watery it gets and feels very light on the skin.
There is no sticky feel to it too, unlike it’s appearance. It also does not make my skin oily too!
I like using this during my morning and night routine. It really doesn’t feel heavy on the skin at all and I feel I could feel one more extra layer of moisture if needed.
This ampoule is really nice if you are looking to start using skincare as a preventive way and keep your skin looking healthy, but also good if you are looking for a nice light feeling ampoule. This would be best to be used in your late 20’s, 30’s and more I feel.
If the bottle and it’s applicator would be changed it would be even better.
Maybe if it’s a pump dispenser instead, it would be better.
Klairs fundamental nourishing eye butter
This eye cream comes in a tube which was a good idea as it’s hygienic and you can easily dispense it under your eye.
I also like the texture, just like it’s name this spreads like butter. It’s not greasy at all and provides the right amount hydration under the eye. You don’t have a heavy feeling after or leaves an oily film.
Unlike Klairs fundamental eye awakening gel, there was no bad reaction to this one.
A little goes a long way, so a small dot of product is enough for your undereye and around your eye area.
This tubes contains 20ml and since you don’t need much, this should also last for a while.
Conclusion
I am super happy with all 3 products.
I think I might have found a great substitute to one of my hg for eye creams.
The toner is great too, and it’s just what my skin needed during this winter.
The ampoule is also great, as another layer of hydration, but I wish the bottle would be changed. That’s the only complain I have.
